Parents: Thank you for allowing your athletes experience the challenge of competing in track and field. General rules of thumb: 1) there will be practice rain or shine; 2) on inclement weather days or transportation problems occur practice will be at the Haddon Heights Campus. Parents will be notified of any change of location via the school’s email update list or by contacting the school office.

A team shooter style Uniform Shirt with the above logo is needed for all members. (2007 & 2008 team members may use the shirt they already have). The cost of the shirt is $12 with sizes of Adult (Small to XXL) and Youth XL. Please contact Coach Wetzel (preferably email) by Thursday April, 2 with the shirt sizes and send the monies with your athletes. I’m having the supplier look into a new style shirt for the girls. The boys like the shooter shirts, but the girls have expressed a desire for a different style.

For practices, a good pair of lightweight running shoes, shorts, t-shirt and a track sweat outfit is usually needed for practices. The surface for the TSCAC meet is asphalt; track spikes may not be used unless they have all rubber bottoms.

Practices are 3:00pm to 5:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday unless otherwise noted:

Please pick up your child promptly after practice at the location/date above.

* For Challenger Grove Park practices, athletes will use the Cherry Hill Campus shuttle for transportation to the park. Transportation is only available to the park. Parents must pick up their athletes at the park promptly at 5:30pm after practice. Challenger Grove Park is located on Bortons Mill Road off of Brace Rd in Cherry Hill.

** Presidential Fitness Test is back to the track program. Participants may earn the Presidential Fitness Award Patch for achieving at least 85 percentile in all categories, National Fitness Award Patch for achieving 50 percentile.

**** TSCAC Track Meet - Saturday April 25 Atlantic Christian HS 8:30am – 2:30pm ****

The TriState Christian Athletic Conference Meet is the big event where the team will compete for medals & ribbons against other schools. Solid black running shorts are needed for the meet. It has not been determined at this time if transportation will be available for the meet.
